The Diamond outer shell and its original diamond design, designed to optimize the shell structure so as to maximize shock absorption and dissipation, has been built with the most modern technologies and is composed of a high percentage of Carbon (over 60%) and Aramid fiber to maximize performance and minimize weight.

RIAS

The rotation Impact Absorbing System is the revolutionary technology of the Diamond helmet: the structure of the helmet, in addition to dissipating shocks by compression absorption like traditional helmets (linear impact), combines an innovative technology that allows dissipating the energy associated with rotational acceleration (rotational impact), reducing tension and providing additional protection in some types of impact. This is possible thanks to the combined work of the different layers of material used: the main inner shell, made of high-density EPS, is characterized by an outer surface (the one in contact with the outer shell) that is very compact and rigid. The internal surface has large grooves that offer a double function: they guarantee a greater flow of air and allow to differentiate of the dissipation of shocks, in fact, as if the main layer had two different densities.

The oscillating inner shell, made of low-density expanded polypropylene (PPE) to provide progressive absorption, is designed to rotate inside the helmet, working in conjunction with the main inner shell. This system allows for multidirectional sliding which also allows the energy associated with rotational acceleration to be dissipated, so as to improve protection in the event of a rotational impact.

The Diamond Helmet is equipped with foam protectors: one positioned in the lower part of the chin guard, the other located in the back at the base of the neck. This advanced protection system represents an important advance in the containment of the anterior and posterior flexion of the neck and in the dissipation of shock in the event of a fall. The system can work in conjunction with modern neck braces.

Ufo Plast has also devised an exclusive visor adjustment system, integrating a sliding flap in the central part that allows adjustment of the length of the visor even in motion.

The Diamond Helmet is also equipped with the complex Airflow Extraction System ventilation system: in the upper front part, under the visor, you can see the three large air intakes which, in combination with 4 other slits placed immediately under the face seal, convey fresh air. directly into the shell. The EPS interior is channeled for a perfect distribution of the airflow which is conveyed and extracted by four large extractors positioned in the rear part of the shell: two in the upper part, and two more located in the lower part. This system guarantees perfect air extraction and optimal heat dissipation.

ECPR

Emergency Cheek Pads Removing

The cheek pads are equipped with the quick-release system for emergency cases. This allows you to remove the cheek pads with the helmet on, making it easier to remove the helmet in the event of an accident.

Retention system

The Diamond helmet is equipped with a chin strap closure system with double D closure in anodized aluminum, with 25 mm tubular tape, complete with a magnetic hook closure button. The closure tape also offers comfortable padding that can be adjusted in length.

MATERIAL

• The Diamond Helmet can be completely disassembled to facilitate maintenance and cleaning: all components are fixed with aluminum Torx screws (T8).
• The interior, fixed to the helmet by press studs, is made of fine and breathable materials and offers excellent comfort. The internal padding is easy to disassemble and completely removable, to allow washing and guaranteeing perfect hygiene.

PRODUCT CARE

Before cleaning the helmet, remove the elements inside, and the visor if present, to sanitize with the utmost care. To reach the most difficult points, help yourself with a small soft brush. Blow into the air intakes to free them of any dirt that may be stuck. INTERIORS Padding pre-treated with antibacterial completely removable and washable, by hand or washing machine, for thorough sanitation. Hand wash: soak overnight in lukewarm water with a little neutral detergent, then rinse thoroughly. Machine wash: select a "delicate" cycle at a maximum temperature of 30 °, using a mild detergent. Drying: do not use the dryer. Don't twist. Press the padding lightly to remove excess water and let it dry naturally. EXTERNAL Gently wipe the shell with a soft cloth moistened with warm water. In case of persistent dirt, moisten and wait at least an hour before proceeding to remove the dirt with a soft cloth, then dry.
